DMCA & Copyright Policy

instapro3.org respects copyright and trademarks. If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, this page explains how to tell me and what happens next. The site is run by one person, Nexon Dev, so every notice is read and handled by me directly.

What this site publishes

  • Guides, troubleshooting and screenshots written and taken for this site.
  • A download of the Insta Pro 3 APK, an unofficial Instagram mod developed by SamMods. This site did not create the app and is not affiliated with SamMods, Instagram or Meta.
  • Product names such as Instagram, which are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe the app.

How to send a copyright notice

Email support@instapro3.org with the subject line “Copyright notice”. To act on it quickly, I need the information a notice under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) requires:

  1. Your full name, and the name of the rights holder if you act on their behalf.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work or trademark you believe is infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on instapro3.org where the material appears, and which part of the page you mean.
  4. Your contact details: postal address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.
  7. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough in an email).

You don’t have to be in the United States to send a notice. I handle notices from any country the same way.

What happens after you send it

  1. I confirm I received your notice, usually within 72 hours.
  2. If the notice is complete and the claim is clear, I remove or disable the material and tell you which URL was changed.
  3. If something is missing or unclear, I reply and ask for it instead of ignoring the notice.
  4. If the material was supplied by someone else (for example, a review), I let that person know it was removed and why.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same email. Include your name and contact details, the URL that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court, and your signature. I’ll forward it to the person who sent the original notice.

Please note

  • Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages under the DMCA. If you’re unsure whether something infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice first.
  • Problems with the Insta Pro 3 app itself, or with your Instagram account, are not copyright issues. For those, see the Contact page.
  • The US Copyright Office explains the notice-and-takedown system on its Section 512 page.
